MODEL RAILWAY CLUB
The Society is a non-profit making organisation, run by volunteers for the benefit of the railway modelling hobby in general and N Gauge modellers in particular.
Caters for all aspects of small scale narrow gauge railway modelling, both for the beginner and the experienced modeller alike, for the scratch-builder. the kit builder and the modeller who prefers proprietary ready to run equipment.

Founded in 1950 by historians and modellers to collect and exchange records, drawings and photographs in the interests of historical accuracy in modelling.
Formed in 1965 to facilitate the avoidance of clashes of exhibition dates, provide a means of communication between the clubs and encourage mutual support. Its aims are best summarised in the key phrase "to encourage and promote the model railway hobby".
